Tara has worked exclusively in private practice since 2014 and has a keen interest in assessing and treating sporting injuries. She has worked with elite rowers, swimmers, rugby players, and runners, returning them to sporting fitness. Tara is qualified in acupuncture, and sports massage (ITEC level 4) and is trained in APPI Pilates. She has medalled twice at a national level in lightweight rowing and has a strong swimming and running background which has benefitted our sports clients enormously.
An invaluable member of our team since 2019, in addition to her extensive assessment and Physiotherapy treatment, Tara leads energising Reformer Pilates sessions for groups, individuals, duos, trios and closed groups each week. She also delivers perfectly pitched dynamic Matwork sessions providing a bespoke full body adapted to each client’s personal needs and goals, keeping them injury-free and firing on all cylinders.
When she is not in practice, Tara can be found chasing glory with Walton Rowing Club Masters Crews, supporting their junior team with physio & Pilates-based training, cycling, running, or open water swimming.
“I had shoulder surgery on my bicep and rotator cuff and came to CorefitPhysio to help my recovery. Tara, was tough but patient with me. I’ve been seeing her for 6 weeks and she’s done wonders with my scar tissue and my range of movement. I would definitely recommend.”
” I have been seeing Tara for the past 6 months. Tara has expertly treated my complicated orthopaedic issues with expert knowledge and consideration; I am now walking much more confidently and comfortably. She has inspired me to do my exercises every day. I cannot recommend Tara highly enough or thank her enough for her skill, understanding and care.”
