Georgia Heaven

Georgia Heaven has a passion for promoting physical well-being through movement and rehabilitation. With a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University and Masters degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University, Georgia has built a diverse career at the intersection of elite sports performance and clinical rehabilitation.

Georgia worked as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in London, specialising in oncological, cardiac, and antenatal rehabilitation. As a dual professional in both physiotherapy and fitness, Georgia’s qualifications extend beyond traditional physiotherapy. She holds the prestigious Level 4 British Association for Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) certification, which equips her to provide expert rehabilitation services for individuals recovering from cardiac events. She is certified in both Reformer and Mat Pilates and Personal Training, where these diverse skills align with her extensive clinical background allowing her to design highly individualised treatment plans that blend hands-on physiotherapy techniques with functional exercise programmes.

Georgia’s deep knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and injury rehabilitation, combined with her background in competitive sports, uniquely positions her to support both high-level athletes and individuals rehabilitating an injury. Her aim is to empower clients of all ages and abilities to regain functional movement, improve quality of life, and restore confidence after injury or surgery. She has a personal understanding of the physical and mental demands of high-level performance, having competed professionally in Muay Thai and K1 kickboxing for the past 2.5 years. She holds a top UK ranking in her weight category and is passionate about integrating this experience into her physiotherapy practice to help her clients ‘train smart’ and avoid injury. Her dual background in competitive sports and rehabilitation gives her a unique perspective on injury prevention and performance enhancement, enabling her to create tailored programmes that suit each client’s needs, from injury recovery to functional strength development.

Alongside her work at Corefitphysio, Georgia also works as a Community Physiotherapist and in Crawley Hospital in the Intermediate Care Unit – Frailty Department. Georgia uses her Pilates expertise to aid in both rehabilitation and performance, offering exercises and treatments that improve body awareness, functional strength and movement efficiency. Georgia believes in the powerful connection between physical and mental health, and her approach centres on the idea that ‘movement is medicine’. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients achieve lasting improvements in their health, whether they are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or striving to reach peak athletic performance.
